English Operating Instructions HD 994... / HD 1094... / HD 1294...19Transporting the cleanern To transport the cleaner over relatively longstretches, take hold of it by the handle andpull it along behind you.n Empty the detergent reservoir beforetransporting it horizontally.Storing the cleanern Place the handgun in the support.n Reel in the high-pressure hose and hang itover the hose rest.n Wind the high-pressure hose on to thehose reel. Push in the crank handle to lockthe hose drum.n Coil the connecting cable round the cable/hose rest.Frost protectionCaution!Water which has frozen in the cleanercan destroy parts of it. At best store thecleaner in a heated room during the winter orempty it or rinse it thoroughly with antifreeze.n Empty the cleaner– Unscrew the inlet hose and high-pressure hose or handgun from the unit.– Leave the cleaner running until thepump and lines have emptied (max.1 minute).n Putting in antifreezeFor longer intervals between operations,pumping antifreeze through the cleaner isto be recommended. By this means alsoyou obtain a sure protection againstcorrosion.Care and maintenanceDanger!Before undertaking any care ormaintenance work on the cleaner, pull out thepower plug.Caution!When changing the oil, dispose of anywaste oil only at authorised collection points.Safety inspection/maintenancecontractYou can arrange with your dealer to have aregular safety inspection carried out or tohave a maintenance contract. Please seekadvice on this.Each time before operating thecleanern Check connecting cable for damage (risk ofgetting an electric shock), have a damagedconnecting cable replaced without delay byauthorised Customer Service personnel oran electrician.n Check high-pressure hose for damage(danger of explosion), replace a damagedhigh-pressure hose without delay.n Check cleaner (pump) for any leaks.Three drops per minute are allowable andcan appear on the underside of thecleaner. Seek the help of CustomerService if leaks are more serious.Every weekn Check the oil level in the oil reservoir. if theoil is milky (water in oil), seek the help ofCustomer Service immediately.n Clean strainer at the water connection.n Clean the filter on the detergent suctionhose.n Oil the shaft on both sides of the hose reelin the bearing block (only HD…SX…).!
