Oil level should be level to the fill mark-ings on the dipstick. Be sure the machine is level when checking the oillevel. (Refer to the engine's operating manual included with machine.) Werecommend that the oil be changed after the first 5 hours of use, then onceevery 100 hours. NOTE: Improper oil levels will cause low oil sensor toshut off engine. IMPORTANT! Do not run engine with high or low oillevels as this will cause engine damage.STEP 3: Connect garden hoseto the cold water source and turnwater on completely. Never use hotwater.STEP 4: Before installing pressurenozzle, trigger spray gun to elimi-nate trapped pressure. Then runmachine, allowing water to flushthrough the system until clear.S T E P 2 : F i l l g a s t a n k w i t hunleaded gasoline. Do not use leadedgasoline.STEP 5: Pull the choke lever out to the "Choke" po-sition (on a warm engine, leave the choke lever in therun position). Push the choke lever to the "Closed"position. To restart a warm engine, leave the chokelever in the "Open" position.ColdWaterSourceGardenHoseSTEP 6: (Electric Start Models with Pull Start) Pullthe starter grip. If the engine fails to start after 2 pulls,squeeze the trigger gun to release pressure and repeatstep. Return starter gently. After the engine warms upenough to run smoothly, move choke to run positionand throttle to fast position. CAUTION: Small enginesmay kick back.
