English 17The voltage indicated on the type plate mustcorrespond to the voltage of the electricalsource.The minimum fuse rating required at the socketoutlet is (see technical specifications).The maximum tolerable mains impedance atthe electrical contact point (see TechnicalData) must not be exceeded.The appliance should always be connectedto the electrical mains using a plug. It is for-bidden to permanently connect the appli-ance to the power supply. The plug is onlyfor mains separation.Check the power cord with mains plug fordamage before every use. If the power cordis damaged, please arrange immediately forthe exchange by an authorized customerservice or a skilled electrician.The plug and coupling of the extension cableused must be watertight.Unsuitable extension cables can be hazard-ous. Only use extension cables outdoorswhich have been approved for this purposeand labelled with a sufficient cable crosssection:Î Set the appliance switch to "0".Î Plug in the main plug.Î If you use an extension conduit it shouldbe unrolled all the time and possess asufficient cross section (10 m = min. 1.5mm 2; 30 m = min. 2.5 mm2 ). DangerLong hours of using the appliance can causecirculation problems in the hands on accountof vibrations.It is not possible to specify a generally validoperation time, since this depends on sever-al factors:– Proneness to blood circulation deficien-cies (cold, numb fingers).– Low ambient temperature.
