Connect the high-pressure hose with gun and rotaryregulator to the test manometer. Screw in the twist grip of the pressure and volume reg-ulation on the pump all the way to the stop (towards"+"). Turn the rotary regulator to the position with the lowestpressure at the nozzle (towards "-"), open gun and letthe device run. Pull off the rotary handle. Loosen the locknut of the adjustment screw for highpressure. Turn the adjustment screw high pressure in a way thatthe opening pressure of the overflow valve is reachedon the test manometer.NoteIf this screw is turned clockwise, the pressure is increased;and if it is turned counter-clockwise, the pressure is de-creased. After adjustment, secure the adjustment screw highpressure by means of a lock nut. Check the working pressure, feed volume and switchpoints of the pressure switches. Seal the adjustment screw for high pressure and thelock nut with safety lacquer.NoteThe rotary regulator is used to adjust the opening pressureof the overflow valve.7.49 Adjusting the working pressure with the rotary regulator on the gun7.49.1 Setting the maximum working pressure
