English 7STEP 4:Î Connect the high pressure nozzle andpress the hand trigger to begin clean-ing.CautionDry runs lasting longer than two minuteslead to damages to the high pressurepump. If the appliance does not build uppressure within two minutes, switch it offand proceed as instructed in the Chapter"Troubleshooting".Î Connect the high pressure hose to thehigh pressure connection of the appli-ance.Î Push the spray lance into the triggergun and fasten it by turning it through90°.Î Completely open the water tap.Î Insert the mains plug into the socket.Î Turn on the appliance “I/ON”. DangerThe trigger gun is subjected to a recoil forcewhen the water jet is discharged. Makesure that you have a firm footing and arealso holding the trigger gun and spray lancefirmly.Î Unlock the lever on the trigger gun.Î Pull on the lever of the trigger gun; thedevice will switch on.Note: Release the lever of the trigger gun;the device will switch off again. High pres-sure remains in the system.For normal cleaning tasks.Not suitable for use with detergents.Please use exclusively KÄRCHER deter-gents and care products to carry out the re-spective cleaning task, as these werespecifically developed for your appliance.The use of other detergents and care prod-ucts may lead to premature wear and caninvalidate your warranty claims. Please ob-tain information at your local dealer or re-quest information directly from KÄRCHER.Î Pull detergent suction hose as far as isrequired out of the housing.Î Suspend end of detergent suction hosein a container filled with detergent.Î Detach spray lance from the triggergun. Work only with the trigger gun.Note: This will mix the detergent withthe water stream.Î Spray the detergent sparingly on thedry surface and allow it to react, but notto dry.Î Spray off loosened dirt with the high-pressure jet.Î Release the lever on the trigger gun.Î Lock the lever on the trigger gun.Î During longer breaks (more than 5 min-utes), also turn the appliance off usingthe "0/OFF" switch.Î Insert the trigger gun in its holder.Start upOperationSpray lance with high pressure nozzleWorking with detergentRecommended cleaning methodInterrupting operation
