English 9 STEP 1:Turn the switch to OFF (0) positionand unplug cord from outlet. STEP 2:Turn off the water source. STEP 3:Press trigger to release water pres-sure. STEP 4:Release trigger and engage gunsafety lock. STEP 5:Disconnect the garden hose from thewater inlet on the unit. CAUTIONWhen disconnecting the supply or highpressure hose, warm water may leakfrom the connector after operation. STEP 6:Disconnect the high pressure hosefrom the high pressure outlet.1 Disconnect all water connections.2 Turn on the machine for a few sec-onds, until the water which had re-mained in the pump exits, turn offimmediately.3 Do not allow high pressure hose tobecome kinked.4 Store the machine and accessories ina room which does not reach freezingtemperatures. DO NOT store nearfurnace or other sources of heat as itmay dry out the pump seals. CAUTIONFailure to follow the above directions willresult in damage to the pump assemblyand accessories and will void the warranty.Kärcher® also recommends the regularpractice of using a pump protector like“Kärcher® Pump Guard” to prevent coldweather damage during storage in thewinter months.SHUTTING DOWN& CLEAN-UPWINTERIZING AND LONG-TERM STORAGE
