English 7Î Release the lever on the spray gun.Î During breaks, use the safety catch tosecure the spray gun lever.Î During longer breaks (more than 5 min-utes), also turn the appliance off usingthe ON/OFF switch.Î If detergent has been added: Suspenddetergent suction tube in a containerfilled with clear water, switch the appli-ance on for around 1 minute once thespray lance has been removed and rinseuntil water runs clear.Î Release the lever on the spray gun.Î Switch the appliance switch to “0/OFF”.Î Turn off tap.Î Press the lever on the spray gun to re-lease any remaining pressure in the sys-tem.Î Disconnect the appliance from the watersupply.Î Detach spray lance from the spray gun.Î Briefly switch the appliance on (“I/ON”),press the spray gun lever until no furtherwater is discharged (approx. 1 min).Î Switch the appliance switch to “0/OFF”.Î Use the safety catch to secure the spraygun lever.Î Pull out the mains plug.Î Roll up the power cord and loop it e.g.round the handle. CautionFrost can destroy an incompletely emptiedunit. Store the appliance in a frost resistantroom during winter.Î Store the spray gun and the spray lancesin the accessory mount.Special accessories expand the possibilitiesof using your appliance. Risk of electric shockAlways switch off the appliance and pull outthe mains plug before care and maintenancework.Prior to longer periods of storage, e.g. in thewinter:Î Remove filter from suction hose for de-tergent and clean with running water.Î Pull out filter in water connection usingflat-nose pliers and clean with runningwater.The appliance is maintenance-free.Only use original Kärcher spare parts.
