6 EnglishThis product is supplied with a GroundFault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) built intothe power cord plug. This device pro-vides additional protection from the riskof electric shock. If power is interruptedin the line, the GFCI will automaticallyre-close the circuit to the load after pow-er is restored. Depending on the GFCImodel, it may be necessary to manuallyoperate the reset button to restore pow-er to the GFCI load circuit. If replace-ment of the plug or cord is needed useidentical replacement parts. CAUTIONWhen connecting the water inlet to thewater supply mains, local regulations ofyour water company must be observed.In some areas the unit must not be con-nected directly to the public drinking wa-ter supply. This is to ensure that there isno feedback of chemicals into the watersupply. Direct connection via a receivertank or backflow preventer, for example,is permitted.Dirt in the feed water will damage theunit. To avoid this risk, we recommendfitting a water filter. Garden hose must be at least 1/2inch or 5/8 inch in diameter. Flow rate of water supply must notfall below 2 GPM (gallons perminute). Flow rate can be determined by run-ning the water for one minute into anempty 5-gallon container. The water supply temperature mustnot exceed 104°F/40°C.
