10 EnglishÎ Join HP hose and trigger gun together.Î Push clip in until it engages and check that itis securely fastened by pulling on the HPhose.Î Remove cable tie and unroll HP hoseAccording to the applicable regulations,the appliance must never be used onthe drinking water net without a systemseparator. Use a suitable system sepa-rator manufactured by Kärcher; or, as an alterna-tive, a system separator as per EN 12729 TypeBA.For connection values, see type plate/technicaldata.Observe regulations of water supplier.Î Use a fibre-reinforced hose (not included)with a standard coupling: - Minimum diame-ter, 1/2 inches (13 mm). - Minimum length, 7.5m.Î Screw the coupling unit (supplied) to the waterconnection on the appliance.Î Push the water supply hose onto the couplingunit, then connect it to the tap. CautionNever operate the high-pressure cleaner whenthe tap is turned off as dry running will damage theHP pump.If the water supply is not clean, the Kärcher waterfilter must be used (special accessory - order No.4.730-059).Î Screw HP hose on to HP outlet on appliance.Î Push the appropriate spray lance on to thetrigger gun and fasten it by turning it to theright through 90°.Î Open tap.Î Plug in mains plug.Î Set main switch to “I/ON”.Î Press safety catch on the trigger gun to re-lease it and pull lever.
