6 EnglishMount loose parts delivered with applianceprior to start-up.Illustrations on Page 13 IllustrationPush the wheels into the intake and se-cure with the enclosed plugs, watch forpositioning of plug.Illustration Place the bottom holder into the recess-es and push forward until it audiblylocks in. Insert the top holder and push down allthe way.You will need the 2 included screws as wellas a Philips screwdriver PH 2. IllustrationSlide the transport handle into the guideand secure it with 2 screws.You will need the 2 included screws as wellas a Philips screwdriver PH 2. IllustrationInsert both detergent hoses onto thehose fittings.Install the dosage regulator and con-nect using 2 screws.Note: During installation you mustmake sure that the tongues of the dos-age regulator match up with the intend-ed recesses in the casing. IllustrationPush the high pressure hose into thetrigger gun until it locks audibly.Note: Make sure the connection nippleis aligned correctly.Check the secure connection by pullingon the high pressure hose. WarningAccording to the applicable regula-tions, the appliance must never beused on the drinking water supplywithout a system separator. Use asuitable system separator manufactured byKÄRCHER; or, as an alternative, a systemseparator as per EN 12729 Type BA. Waterflowing through a system separator is con-sidered non-drinkable.CautionAlways connect the system separator tothe water supply, never directly to the appli-ance!Note: Impurities in the water can damagethe high-pressure pump and accessories.For protection, the use of the KÄRCHERwater filter (optional accessory, order no.4.730-059) is recommended.Observe regulations of water supplier.For connection values, see type plate/tech-nical data. Use a fibre-reinforced water hose (notincluded) with a standard coupling.(Minimum diameter 1/2 inch (13 mm),minimum length 7.5 m). IllustrationScrew the coupling element to the wa-ter connection on the appliance.Push the water supply hose onto thecoupling unit, then connect it to the wa-ter supply.This high-pressure cleaner is suited to workwith the KÄRCHER suction hose with back-flow valve (Optional accessory, order no.4.440-238) to draw in surface water, e.g.from water butts or ponds (see specifica-tions for max. suction height). Fill the KÄRCHER suction hose withbackflow valve with water, screw to wa-ter supply and hang into the water butt. Separate the high pressure hose fromthe high pressure connection of the ap-pliance.OperationBefore StartupInstall wheelsInstall the storage for trigger gun(K 3.575 Jubilee only)Install the transport handleInstall the dosage regulator fordetergentConnect the high pressure hose to thetrigger gunWater supplyWater supply from mainsDrawing in water from open reservoirs
