English 11 Warning Check the high-pressure hose for dam-age before every use. Please arrangefor the immediate exchange of a dam-aged high-pressure hose. High-pressure hoses, fixtures and cou-plings are important for the safety of theappliance. Only use high-pressure hos-es, fixtures and couplings recommend-ed by the manufacturer. Do not use the appliance when thereare other persons around unless theyare also wearing safety gear. Unsuitable extension cables can behazardous. Only use extension cablesoutdoors which have been approved forthis purpose and labelled with a suffi-cient cable cross section:1 - 10 m: 1.5 mm2; 10 - 30 m: 2.5 mm2Note The appliance must not be operated bychildren or persons who have not beeninstructed accordingly. Make sure that the power cable or ex-tension cables are not damaged by run-ning over, pinching, dragging or similar.Protect the power cable from heat, oil,and sharp edges. The connection between the power ca-ble and extension cable must not lie inwater. All current-conducting parts in the work-ing area must be protected against jetwater. The appliance may only be connectedto an electrical supply which has beeninstalled in accordance with IEC 60364. The appliance may only be connectedto alternating current. The voltage mustcorrespond with the type plate on theappliance. The minimum fuse rating required at thesocket outlet is 10 A (slow-blow). To avoid accidents due to electricalfaults we recommend the use of sock-ets with a line-side current-limiting cir-cuit breaker (max. 30 mA nominaltripping current). The plug and coupling of the extensioncable used must be watertight. Always fully unroll electrical cables fromthe cable drum. This appliance was designed to beused with detergents which are sup-plied or recommended by the manufac-turer. The use of other detergents orchemicals may compromise the safetyof the appliance.Safety devices serve to protect the userand must not be rendered inoperational ortheir functions bypassed.The switch prevents unintented starting ofthe appliance.
