The machine with working equipmentmust be checked to ensure that it is inproper working order and is operatingsafely prior to use. Otherwise, the appli-ance must not be used.– This sweeper has been designed tosweep dirt and debris from indoor aswell as outdoor surfaces.– The appliance is not intended for streetcleaning.– The machine is not suitable for vacuum-ing dust which endangers health.– The machine may not be modified.– The machine is only suitable for use onthe types of surfaces specified in theoperating instructions.– The machine may only be operated onthe surfaces approved by the companyor its authorised representatives.– The following applies in general: Keephighly-flammable substances awayfrom the appliance (danger of explo-sion/fire).– Never vacuum up explosive liquids,combustible gases or undiluted acidsand solvents. This includes petrol, paintthinner or heating oil which can gener-ate explosive fumes or mixtures uponcontact with the suction air. Acetone,undiluted acids and solvents must alsobe avoided as they can harm the mate-rials on the machine.– Never sweep/vacuum up reactive metaldusts (e.g. aluminium, magnesium,zinc), as they form explosive gaseswhen they come in contact with highlyalkaline or acidic detergents.– Do not sweep/vacuum up any burningor glowing objects.– The machine may not be used or storedin hazardous areas. It is not allowed touse the appliance in hazardous loca-tions.– Asphalt– Industrial floor– Screed– Concrete– Paving stonesThe sweeper operates using the overthrowprinciple.– The side brushes (3) clean the cornersand edges of the surface, moving dirtand debris into the path of the rollerbrush.– The rotating roller brush (4) moves thedirt and debris directly into the wastecontainer (5).– The dust raised in the container is sep-arated by the dust filter (1) and the fil-tered clean air is drawn off by the suc-tion fan (2).Your sales outlet should be informed aboutany transit damage noted when unpackingthe product.– Read and adhere to the operating in-structions and safety notes of the at-tachments affixed to the appliance.– Warning and information plates on themachine provide important directionsfor safe operation.– In addition to the information containedin the operating instructions, all statuto-ry safety and accident prevention regu-lations must be observed.
