Notes on the operationCleaning of TextilesBefore you use the steam cleaner for thecleaning of textiles, you should always test theresistance of the fabrics against steam by meansof cleaning a hidden spot. Apply steam to thehidden spot, and then let it dry. Check whetherthe colour and shape of the area have changed.Cleaning of Coated or Lacquered SurfacesNever direct the steam jet at glued edges as theedge band may loosen. Do not use the steamcleaner on wooden or parquetry floors that havenot been sealed.Be careful when you clean kitchen and livingroom furniture, doors, parquetry, lacquered orplastic-coated surfaces! Upon a longer influenceof steam, wax, furniture polish, plastic coatings,or paint may come off, or stains may occur. Therefore, you should only clean such surfacesusing a piece of cloth to which steam has beenapplied or very briefly using a double layer ofcloth on the nozzle.Cleaning of GlassNever direct the steam jet directly at the sealedparts of the window around the window frame toprevent damages of the sealing. In case of low outside temperatures, especiallyin the winter, warm up the window pane. Applya small quantity of steam to the entire glasssurface. Thus, you compensate temperaturedifferences and avoid stresses in the glasssurface. This is of importance because glasssurfaces that are heated unevenly may crack.3. Operation
