The products are safe to usebecause they contain no acids, alkalis orsubstances harmful to the environment. Weadvise you to store the detergents so that theyare inaccessible to children, to bathe the eyesthoroughly with water should the detergentscome into contact with them and to consulta doctor should they be swallowed.Legal regulations should be observed fordisposal of dirty water and detergent solution.For the sake of the environmentWhen you unpack the unit do not simply throwpackaging out with the household rubbish.Hand over the different parts of the packagingto the appropriate collection points forrecycling.Operating the cleanerUsing the cleaner correctlyThis cleaner is intended for use as follows:– as a wet cleaner for carpets and carpeting– in accordance with the explanatory detailsand safety information contained in theseoperating instructionsUsing the cleaner in any other way isconsidered to be contrary to its intendedpurpose. The manufacturer will not be liable forany damages that occur as a result of improperusage. In such cases liability rests solely withthe user.Putting into operation for the first timen Put the suction hose of the spray-suctionhose on to the connector on the unit (Fig.1a). Press the coupling of the spray hose onto the connector. Make sure they engageproperly (Fig. 1b).n Place the spray-suction hose firmly on thegrip section (Fig. 2a) and place the couplingof the spray hose on the connector of thegrip section.
