Even small changes in the balance point make largechanges in stability. For your first flights werecommend using a balance point at the forwardend of the center of gravity {C.G.} range, thislocation will provide the most stability. As yourcomfort and skill increase slowly move the C.G. aftto increase the control response.Lay a strip of masking tape along the top of eachwing as shown. Make two marks on the tape one 51/2-inches, one 6 1/4-inches back from the leadingedge of the wing. Repeat on the other side of thefuselage. These marks represent the limits of theC.G. range.Turn the aircraft upside down and support it frombetween the two marks. Slide the battery pack to aposition where the plane will balance level toslightly nose heavy. Mount the battery inside thefuselage at the determined location. Install the onoff switch in a convenient location per themanufactures instructions. Reinstall the wing andcheck the C.G. again. If necessary add weight to thenose or tail.CONTROL THROWSDouble check all controls move in the properdirectionWith your radio on, center all trims and adjust theclevises so all control surfaces are straight.
