KaVo GENTLEsilence LUX 6500B Repair Procedure

STEP 1Place your 10101ANG KaVo bearing, Shield SideDOWN, into Hole #2 on your work block. Then, placethe open end of your 10116T KaVo 6500B Spindleinto the Bearing. Using your Auto-Chuck ProtectorPunch, carefully press the spindle into the bearinguntil the impeller and bearing make contact.STEP 2Now, place the 40405CM bearing, Shield Side DOWN, intoHole #2 on your work block. Then, place the button end ofthe spindle in the bearing. Using your Auto-ChuckProtector Punch, carefully press the spindle into thebearing until the impeller and bearing make contact.STEP 3Now, place the 10116TI Thrust Washer ontothe open end of the spindle. Next, place theassembly down into Hole #2 in your workblock to properly align the turbine over thewasher. Lastly, carefully press the turbineinto the Thrust Washer until the Bearing andWasher touch.STEP 4Your completed turbine assembly should look like thepicture at left. First, install the new o-rings into the headand back cap. When inserting the turbine into thehandpiece, please remember, the Small 10216 Wavy-Washer goes down in the head of the 6500B while theLarger 10216 Wavy-Washer goes in the Back Cap.
