Be sure the machine is level when checking the oillevel. (Refer to the engine's operating manual included with machine.)We recommend that the oil be changed after the first 5 hours of use, thenonce every 50 hours. Note: Improper oil levels will cause low oil sensorto shut off engine. IMPORTANT! Do not run engine with high or lowoil levels as this will cause engine damage.STEP 2: Remove shipping capand install oil dipstick. Checkpump oil level by using dipstick orobserve oil level in oil window (ifequipped). Use 40 wt. non deter-gent oil. The Legacy Axial Pumpdoes not require maintenance. At-temping to check oil on this pumpmay damage it and will void yourpump warranty.STEP 4: Connect garden hoseto the cold water source and turnwater on completely. Never usehot water.STEP 6: Rotate the fuel shut-off valve to the "On"position. Slide the fuel valve lever to the "ON" position.When the engine is not in use, leave the fuel valve inthe "OFF" position.STEP 5: Trigger the spray gun toeliminate trapped air then wait fora steady flow of water to emergefrom the spray nozzle.OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSSTEP 3: Fill gas tank with unleadedgasoline. Do not use leaded gaso-line.STEP 7: Move the choke lever to the "Choke" posi-tion (on a warm engine, leave the choke lever in therun position). Move the choke lever to the "Closed"position.
