Alignment9After a successful tuning, the following message appears for a fewseconds:Normally, no further corrections are necessary. After 1-2 minutes, thesearched satellite is set. The following fine tuning lasts approximately2 minutes. Afterwards, the set position is saved. To call up anothersatellite lasts about 30 seconds.Manual correctionThe setting may need to be corrected in the fringe areas of the satel-lite footprint. For this reason, it is possible to manually correct the finetuning.Access the HDP menu from the position “HDP antenna alignment –On” in the main menu by pressing . In the positions “Elevation”and “Azimuth,” you can correct the slope and the horizontal angle ofthe antenna by using the or button or by entering a value withthe numerical buttons. Observe the bar “level” and “qual” on the leftside for controlling the alignment. The higher the bar, the strongerand better the received signal is. At the same time, you can switch ona search tone by pressing the button. The pitch of the tone corre-sponds with the strength of the signal. The graphical representation inthe lower section (green with a red point) relays the relative position ofthe antenna. While the positioner moves the antenna to the desired direction, a re-spective message appears for elevation and azimuth.
