TROUBLESHOOTINGIn the event of a malfunction, first check all the cable connections and operating states:1. Receiver and TV set power plugs are connected to wall socket2. Antenna cables on receiver input3. Receiver and TV set correctly connected by a Scart or cinch cable4. Audio connections are made to Hi-Fi or Dolby Digital system as appropriate5. Receiver and TV set (Hi-Fi/Dolby Digital system) are switched on (check power indicators)6. Receiver is responding to remote controlA selection of troubleshooting tips is offered below.Problem Cause Remedy“Weak or no signal!” warningappears on some or allchannelsAntenna signal of satellitereception system missing orfaulty. Incorrect LNB frequenciesset in the “Antenna Configuration”menu.Consult an antenna specialist tohave it checked and repaired asnecessary. On “Installation” menucheck LNB configuration for thesatellite in question: High L.O.“10.600” GHz, Low L.O. “9.750”GHz, and Limit frequency L.O.“11.700 MHz”, and change asnecessary.Remote control no longerrespondingReceiver or remote controlcommand set may have beenunintentionally changedSet infrared code 1(simultaneously press the buttons+). Check the batteriesWrong time being displayed“Summer Time” settingwrong. An incorrect time wasimported from the receptionsignalOn “Settings” - “Date and TimeSetup” menu check “SummerTime Enabled” and change asnecessary Switch off receiver atmains switch from current channel,e.g. ARD or ZDF, wait 10 secondsand then switch back onThe following channels cut outor “Weak or no signal!” appears:DSF, Tele 5, HSE 24 andSonnenklar TVDECT telephones operate onthe same frequency as thesechannels.
