54 EnglishRegistering a new BluetoothdeviceWhen you connect a Bluetooth device to theunit for the first time, make pairing betweenthe unit and the device for registration.Pairing allows Bluetooth devices tocommunicate each other.• The pairing method differs depending onthe Bluetooth version of the device.– For the device with Bluetooth 2.1: Youcan pair the device and the unit usingSSP (Secure Simple Pairing) which onlyrequests confirmation.– For the device with Bluetooth 2.0: Youneed to enter a PIN code both on thedevice and unit for pairing.• Once the pairing is complete, it isregistered in the unit even if you reset theunit. Up to 5 devices can be registered intotal.• Only one device for Bluetooth phone andone for Bluetooth audio can be connectedat a time.• To use the Bluetooth function, you need toturn on Bluetooth function of the device.• To use the registered device, you need toconnect the device to the unit.
