English 27Custom POIs (Points of Interest)You can manually load custom points of interest(POI) databases, available from various companieson the Internet. Some custom POI databasescontain alert information for points such as safetycameras and school zones. The navigation systemcan notify you when you approach one of thesepoints. You are responsible for ensuring that youruse of safety camera information is lawful in yourarea.NOTICEGarmin is not responsible for the consequences ofusing the safety camera database or other customPOI databases, or for the accuracy of the safetycamera or other custom POI database.After downloading your POI database, use theGarmin POI Loader to install the POIs onto aUSB mass storage device. Use the USB massstorage device to load the POIs. The POI Loader isavailable at www.garmin.com/products/poiloader. Refer to the POI Loader Help file formore information; click Help to open the Help file.ڥ Each time you load custom POIs to the navigationsystem, any other custom POIs already saved in thesystem will be overwritten.Finding Custom POIsTo view a list of the custom POIs loaded in yournavigation system, touch Where To? > Extras >Custom POIs.Deleting Custom POIsTo delete all custom POIs from your navigationsystem, touch Tools > My Data > Delete CustomPOI(s).
