4 ñ EnglishÑ Acquiring GPS signalThe first time you turn on this unit, you must waitwhile the system acquires satellite signals for thefirst time. This process could take up to severalminutes. Make sure your vehicle is outdoors in anopen area away from tall buildings and trees forfastest acquisition.After the system acquires satellites for the first time,it will acquire satellites quickly each time thereafter.Ñ Cleaning the UnitIf the front panel of this unit is stained, wipe it witha dry soft cloth such as a silicon cloth. If the frontpanel is stained badly, wipe the stain off with acloth moistened with neutral cleaner, then wipe itagain with a clean soft dry cloth.! CAUTION• Applying spray cleaner directly to the unit mayaffect its mechanical parts. Wiping the front panelwith a hard cloth or using a volatile liquid such asthinner or alcohol may scratch the surface or erasescreened print.Ñ How to reset your unitIf the unit fails to operate properly, press the Resetbutton. The unit returns to the factory settings.✎ NOTE• Disconnect the USB device before pressing the button. Pressing the button withthe USB device connected can damage the datastored in the USB device. For how to disconnect theUSB device, see How to Play Music (P.12).• When the unit is turned on after resetting, the InitialSETUP screen appears. See First Step (P.6).
