EN5Preparing the remote control unitPull the battery sheet out from theremote control unit to the direction ofthe arrow.OperationWhen the power cord is plugged in, standbyindicator is lit. The power turns ON by pressingPOWER button on the remote control unit pointingat the remote sensor. When the power comes on,press the button you want to operate.⁄• The supplied battery may have shorter live than ordinarybattery due to use during operation checks.• When the remote-controllable distance gets shorter thanbefore, replace the battery with a new one.• Placing the remote sensor in direct sunlight, or in directlight from a high frequency fl uorescent lamp may cause amalfunction.In such a case, change the location of the system installationto prevent malfunction.Changing the battery of the remote controlunitUse a commercially available button battery(CR2025).1 Insert something narrowlike a paperclip into thehole 1 and pull out thebattery tray.2 Replace the old batterywith a new one.Before applying powerCR2025(+side)ConnectionsConnecting the AM antennaSet up the AM loop antenna, and then connect it toAM ANT terminal on the back.Place the antenna where AM broadcast can bereceived.Speakers connection1 Connect the right speaker to terminal marked“R”, with the red wire to + and the black wire to–.2 Connect the left speaker to terminal marked “L”,with the red wire to + and the black wire to –.Clip the stripped portion of the speaker wire asshown.1 2 3For the FM antenna : Adjust the position of the FMantenna for the best reception and fi x it.⁄• For optimal sound performance, it is recommended to usethe supplied speakers.• Do not connect more than one speaker to any one pair of+/– speaker terminals.• After the antennas are connected and placed, cover theantenna terminal with the provided antenna terminal coverand fix it with the provided screw.¤CAUTIONBe sure to adhere to the following, or properventilation will be blocked causing damage orfire hazard.• Do not place any objects impairing heat radiation ontothe top of the unit.• Leave some space around the unit (from the largestoutside dimension including projection) equal to orgreater than, shown below.Top panel : 50 cm Back panel : 10 cm¤CAUTIONInstall the equipment so that the power outlet is easilyaccessible and, in case of emergency, immediately unplugthe power cord from the power outlet.The power in this equipment will not be completely cutoff from the AC wall outlet when the main switch is turnedOFF.¤CAUTIONLithium battery.Danger of Explosion if handled carelessly.Replace the Battery with a similar type from the samemanufacturer.
