After unpacking your microwave, check that ithas not been damaged whilst in the box. Makesure there are no dents on the oven, and thedoor closes properly. A dented or damagedoven could allow microwave energy to escape.Make sure that you have taken all thepackaging from inside the microwave. Pleasedispose of the plastic wrappings or bags safelyand keep out of the reach of babies and youngchildren.2. Choose a flat work surface for your microwaveaway from heat sources such as radiators orfires and away from cold areas.You should allow a 10cm space all around theoven and 30cm above so that warm air canescape from the vents during cooking – Thismicrowave is not designed to be built in.3. Plug your microwave into a standardhousehold electrical socket (230-240 volt, 13amp rated).Avoid using a socket that also has an adaptorand other equipment plugged in. Do not use amulti-adaptor.4. Put the turntable ring inside the microwaveand place the glass turntable on top of thering.The turntable is shaped to sit securely on thespindle.
