Before calling service, first check the following table for possibleproblems.PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTIONNo sound.(No sound from one side.)The output level is toosmall (or too large).The sound quality is bad.(The sound is distorted.)• Input (or output) cables aredisconnected.• Protection circuit may beactivated.• The fuse may be blown becausethe volume was too high.The input sensitivity adjustingcontrol is not set to the correctposition.• The speakers wire areconnected with wrong + / -polarity.• A speaker wire is pinched by ascrew in the car body.• The switches may be setimproperly.• Connect the input (or output)cables.• Check connections by referringto "Protection function".• Replace the fuse with a newfuse and use a lower volume.Adjust the control correctlyreferring to “Controls”.• Connect them properly checkingthe + / - of the terminals andwires well.• Connect the speaker wire againso that it is not pinched byanything.• Set switches properly byreferring to "System examples".
