17ENGLISH |Installation overviewThe antenna should be installed on the passenger side forsafety.– Wait until the glass surface is completelydry before proceeding.– Warm the surface of the windscreen withdefroster if it is cold (during winter).3 Remove the separator (tag I) of filmantenna (F) horizontally and paste theantenna on the windscreen.(F)Do not touch the pasting surface (adhesiveside) of the film antenna (F).4 Remove the separator (tag II) of filmantenna (F) vertically and paste theantenna on the windscreen.(F)5 Rub the film antenna gently onto thewindscreen in the direction of the arrowshown to allow it to stick firmly.(F)Separator (tag I)Separator (tag II)Antenna installation1 Remove the front pillar cover of your car.2 Clean the windscreen with the suppliedcleaner (I).(I)• The front pillar cover is secured with a special clipwhich may need to be replaced when it is removed.Contact your vehicle dealer for details on removingthe front pillar cover and availability of replacementparts.Front pillarClipAir bagCautionWhen installing the antenna cable insidethe front pillar with the air bag installed• Install the amplifier unit (G) above the air bag so thatit does not obstruct the operation of the air bag.(G)Front pillar
