12 | KDC-DAB43U/ KDC-DAB4557U English | 134.5 Setting the skip search ratio(Function of iPod, KME-Light/ KMC media)You can change the ratio of skip performed asmentioned in <4.3 Music search> (page 11).1 Press the volume knob to enter Functionmode.“FUNCTION” appears.2 Turn the volume knob to selectSETTINGS,then press the knob.3 Turn the volume knob to selectSKIP SEARCH,then press the knob.4 Turn the volume knob to select the skip searchratio from the following options then pressthe knob.0.5%/ 1%/ 5%/ 10% : Sets the ratio of skip whensearching for a song in Music Search mode.(Holding [E] / [F] for 3 seconds or longer skipssongs at 10% regardless of the selected ratio.)5 Press and hold [6] to exit.4.6 More informationHandling discs• Do not touch the recording surface of the disc.• Do not stick tape etc. on the disc, or use a disc withtape stuck on it.• Do not use any accessories for the disc.• Clean from the center of the disc and moveoutward.• Clean the disc with a dry silicon or soft cloth. Do notuse any solvents.• When removing discs from this unit, pull them outhorizontally.• Remove the rims from the center hole and discedge before inserting a disc.Discs that cannot be used• This unit can only play the CDs with .• Discs that are not round.• Discs with coloring on the recording surface or discsthat are dirty.• You cannot play a Recordable/ReWritable disc thathas not been finalized.
