20 EnglishRegistering to the Preset Dial Number(Preset Memory)2 Enter the phone number with referenceto the following:Dial a number/ Calling a number in the calllog/ Calling a number in the Phone Book3 Press and hold number button (1 – 6) forabout 2 seconds.Make a Voice Dialing Call2 Turn the volume knob to select “VOICERECOG”, then press to enter.“V-RECG READY” is displayed.3 Press the volume knob to start voicerecognize.4 “PB NAME” is displayed.When a beep is heard, say the name within2 seconds.5 “PN TYPE” is displayed.When a beep is heard, say the categoryname within 2 seconds.The recognized phone number (name) isdisplayed.6 Press the volume knob to make a call.■ This step is the same as step 4 of theprocedure in Phone Book> (page 19). You can make acall or select a category.■ If your voice cannot be recognized, amessage is displayed. Pressing the Volumeknob allows you to retry voice input. Referto (page 37).■ Both the name and category requireregistration of a voice tag.
