2 | Quick Start GuideContents Before use2 WARNINGTo prevent injuries or a fire, takethe following precautions:• Stop the car before operating the unit.• To prevent a short circuit, never put orleave any metallic objects (such as coinsor metal tools) inside the unit.¤ CAUTION• Adjust the volume so that you can hearsound outside the car. Driving with thevolume adjusted to a too high level maycause an accident.• Wipe off the dirt on the panel with a drysilicon or soft cloth.Failure to observe this precaution mayresult in damage to the monitor or unit.Cleaning the connectorThe unit may not function properly if theconnector between the unit and faceplateare dirty. Detach the faceplate and clean theconnector with a cotton swab gently, beingcareful not to damage the connector.ConnectorCondensationWhen the car is air-conditioned, moisturemay collect on the laser lens. This may causedisc read errors.
