CAUTION• This film antenna is exclusively for useinside the vehicle.• Do not install at the following locations:- Where it may block driver’s view- Where it may obstruct operation ofsafety devices such as air bags- On movable glass surface such as rearhatch• Signal strength will decrease at thefollowing locations:- On IR reflecting glass or where coveredwith mirror type glass film- Where it overlaps with genuine radioantenna (pattern)- Where it overlaps with window heatingwires- At side of vehicle (e.g. door, frontquarter window)- On rear window- When glass that blocks radio signals(e.g. IR reflecting glass, thermalinsulation glass) is used- Reception may decrease due to noisewhen windshield wiper, air conditioner,or motor is turned on.- Reception may decrease depending onthe direction of the broadcast stationwith respect to the vehicle (antenna).• Be sure to check the installation locationof film antenna (Accessory 6) beforeinstalling. Film antenna cannot bere-pasted.• Thoroughly wipe oil and dirt from thepasting surface with the included cleaner(Accessory 9).• Do not bend or damage the film antenna(Accessory 6).• Warm the pasting surface by turning onthe heater for example, before applying.• It may not be possible to install on sometype of vehicle.• Check the cable routing of the filmantenna (Accessory 6) and amplifier(Accessory 7) before pasting.1 Check the installation position of themicrophone (Accessory 5).2 Clean the installation surface.3 Install the microphone.4 Lay the cable up to the unit with itsecured at several positions using tapeor the like.<• Install the microphone as far as possiblefrom the cell phone.Fix the cable with a commercial item of tape.Accessory5Remove the separator ofthe microphone, and stickthe microphone to theplace shown above.Adjust the direction of themicrophone to the driver.KDC-U7056DAB only
