safetyl Read these instructions carefully and retainfor future reference.l Remove all packaging including the plasticblade cover from the blades. The bladecover should be retained and refitted whennot in use.l Always switch off and unplug before insertingor removing the blades and before cleaning.l The blades are sharp, handle with care. Holdthe blades by their handles away from thecutting edge, both when handling andcleaning.l During slicing keep hands etc and utensilswell away from the cutting blades.l Do not use if there is any visible damage tothe appliance.l Never use an unauthorised attachment.l Never leave the appliance unattended whenconnected to the power supply.l Never use a damaged appliance. Get itchecked or repaired: see ‘service andcustomer care’.l Don’t let excess cord hang over the edge ofa table or worktop or touch hot surfaces.l Never misuse your electric knife and only useit for its intended domestic use.l Never let the power unit, cord or plug getwet.l Never exert excessive force when slicingfood.l Only use the freezer blades (larger teeth)supplied with the KN650 to slice partiallythawed or lightly frozen food.English2
