4 | KVT-514/KVT-534DVDConnecting Wires to Terminals– +PRK SWUSB connectorUSB device(commercially available)FUSE ( 15A )To connect the Kenwood navigation system,consult your navigation manual.To use the steering wheel remote control feature, you need to anexclusive remote adapter (not supplied) matches your car is required.For the sake of safety, be sure to connect the parking sensor.Connect to the vehicle's parking brake detectionswitch harness.Battery wire (Yellow)Ignition wire (Red)Steering remote control input (Light Blue/Yellow)To steering remoteIf no connections are made, do not let the cable come out from the tab.Connect to the terminal that is grounded when eitherthe telephone rings or during conversation.Mute wire (Brown)Connect to vehicle’s reverse lamp harness whenusing the optional rear view camera.Reverse sensor wire (Purple/White)Parking sensor wire (Light Green)If you connect the ignition wire (red) andthe battery wire (yellow) to the car chassis(ground), you may cause a short circuit, thatin turn may start a fire.
