24Press and hold the MENU key for 3 seconds tolock or unlock the transceiver keys.ï The icon appears on the display when thetransceiver keys are locked. No icon appearswhen they are unlocked.S UPER L OCKYou can lock the MENU, CAL, ▲, and ▼ keys, and disablethe Setting Mode. The PTT and MON keys still functionnormally. To turn Super Lock ON or OFF, follow the stepsbelow.1 Turn the transceiver power OFF.2 Press and hold the PTT switch and the CALkey while turning the transceiver power ON(for 2 seconds).3 Press the ▲ or ▼ key to select ì î (superlock on) or ì î (super lock off).4 Press the MENU, PTT, MON, or CAL key toexit Super Lock Setting Mode.ï The icon appears on the display when thetransceiver keys are locked. No icon appearswhen they are unlocked.
