ALSO, TRANSMITTING NEARA REGULATED POWER SUPPLY, THAT ISNOT RECOMMENDED BYKENWOOD, MAYCAUSE THE POWER SUPPLY TO OUTPUTAN EXTREMELY HIGH VOLTAGE. THISVOLTAGE COULD DAMAGE BOTH YOURTRANSCEIVER AND ANY OTHEREQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO THE POWERSUPPLY.Note:If input voltage exceeds approximately 18 V,warning beeps sound and “DC ERR” appears onthe display.Press the PWR switch for 1 second orlonger.qwertyuTurn the VOL control clockwise to the11 o’clock position.Press [BAND] to select the VHF orUHF band.Turn the Tuning control to select afrequency.Press and hold the PTT switch, thenspeak in a normal tone of voice.Release the PTT switch to receive.Repeat steps t and y to continuecommunication.qwerty
