23ADVANCED OPERATIONSTRANSMIT POWEREach channel is programmed with either high or low transmitpower. On high transmit power channels, press the keyprogrammed as [Low Transmit Power] to change the transmitpower to low power (you cannot change low transmit powerchannels to use high power).• The indicator appears while using low transmit power.DIRECT CHANNEL ENTRYYou can select a channel by channel entry.1 Press the key programmed as [Channel Entry].• If your dealer has activated the [Channel Entry] keypadoperation, you can press the keypad keys directly.2 Enter your desired channel number using the keypad.• If no more than 9 channels have been programmed on yourtransceiver, simply enter a 1-digit channel number. Forexample, to select channel 5, enter “5” on your keypad.• If up to 99 channels have been programmed on yourtransceiver, enter a 2-digit channel number. For example, toselect channel 5, enter “05” on your keypad.• If 100 or more channels have been programmed on yourtransceiver, enter a 3-digit channel number. For example, toselect channel 5, enter “005” on your keypad.• Press the Side 1 key to exit channel entry mode.• Press the S key to set the selected channel.• Press the A or # key to delete the last entered digit.
