When the instrument is rack-mounted the rack must be provided withan easily accessible mains switch.Before Applying PowerTo minimize shock hazard, the instrument chassisand cover must be connected to an electricalprotective earth ground. The instrument must beconnected to the ac power mains through agrounded power cable, with the ground wire firmlyconnected to an electrical ground (safety ground)at the power outlet.
