ENNever use solvents, alcohol or other aggressive substances orovens for drying the coffee machine components. Wash machinecomponents (electric components excluded) with cold/luke-warm water and non-abrasive clothes/sponges. Dishwater canbe used for the following Minù Caffè Latte machine compo-nents – drop drawer, cup rest grid, excess-water drawer. Rinsethe tank every day .Do not leave water in the circuit for over 3days or, should this happen, then run a water supply (withoutcapsule) before starting a coffee supply.COFFEE DISPENSER CLEANINGTo clean the dispenser, perform a weekly COFFEE BREWING proce-dure without inserting the capsule.CLEAN THE EXCESS WATER DRAWER AND THE DRIPTRAYEmpty and clean the excess water drawer and the drip tray after 10coffees made or every two / three days.1 Take off the drip tray and remove the drip tray grill.2 Remove and empty the excess water drawer. Clean and dry allparts before putting them backCheck periodically that the excess water drawer and the drip tray arenot full so as to avoid malfunctioning and damages to the machine.CLEANING THE CAPPUCCINO MAKERDisconnect the power plug from the outlet before cleaning theCappuccino maker and its accessories. To avoid the risk of electricshock, do not clean or immerse in water the power cord or the baseof the machine.• The container, the crown and the lid must be washed after each usewith warm water and a little detergent, or washed in the dishwasher.• If necessary, the notched crown can be cleaned with a small brush.• Thoroughly dry all accessories.• The base can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth dipped in a smallamount of liquid detergent.• Do not use abrasive detergent solutions or solventsDESCALINGLimescale normally builds up with extended use of the appliance;the machine needs descaling every 3-4 months and/or whenevera reduction in water flow is noticed.In the event of any operational conflict, this use and maintenancemanual shall prevail on any indication specified on accessories and/or components sold separately.For descaling can be used a descaling product for coffee machines ofnon-toxic and/or harmful type, commercially available.Do not drink the descaling solution and products dispenseduntil the completion of the cycle. Never use vinegar as adescaling solution.1 Remove and empty the water tank.2 Refill the tank with a descaling solution and water as specified onthe package of the descaling product. Refit the tank.3 Power the machine ON and place a suitable container under thespout.4 Turn the coffee dial to the dispensing position and dispense 2 cups(approximately 150 ml each) of water.5 Turn off the machine.6 Allow the descaling solution to work for about 15-20 minutes withthe machine turned off.7 Turn on the machine by pressing the start-up/ stand -by buttonand perform the steps described in poin 4 and 5 . Turn off themachine using the start-up/stand-by button for 3 minutes.8 Repeat the steps described in point 7 until the water tank iscompletely empty.9 Remove the tank and rinse it with fresh drinking water. Fill it com-pletely.10 Turn on the machine by pressing the start-up / stand-by button.Place a suitable container under the dispenser. Turn the coffee dialto the dispensing position and dispense the entire content of thetank11 When the water is finished, refill the tank and repeat the steps de-scribed in point 10 .
