13Charging Your PMPYour PMP has an integrated rechargeable battery.• Plug one end of the supplied power adapter into the PMP’s DC 5V PowerJack and plug the other end into a 100-240V wall outlet.The battery should be charged fully (minimum 4 hours) before itsinitial use to ensure optimum lifetime performance.The battery used in this device may present a fire or chemicalburn hazard if mistreated. Do not disassemble, incinerate, or heatthe battery.Do not connect the power plug to a power outlet other than thatwhich is indicated here or on the label as this may result in the riskof fire or electric shock.Do not handle the power plug with wet hands. Failure to do somay case a fire or damage the player.Turning Your PMP On/Off• To turn the PMP on, press and hold until you see the “Lenco” Screen.• To turn the PMP off, press and hold until the PMP turns off.Hold Switch (Key Lock)The Hold feature disables your PMP’s controls to prevent accidental key presseswhen it is in your pocket or bag.• To lock the PMP, slide the Hold switch to the left.
