MOUNTINGNote: Before permanently mounting ensure that the indoor weather stationis able to receive WWVB signals from the desired location. Also, extremeand sudden changes in temperature will decrease the accuracy of theindoor weather station. Changes in elevation will result with inaccurateweather forecasting for the next 12 to 24 hours. These changes will requirea 12 to 24 hour wait before obtaining reliable data. To achieve a truetemperature reading, avoid mounting where direct sunlight can reach theremote thermo/hygro sensor. We recommend that you mount the remotethermo/hygro sensor on a North-facing wall. The transmitting range of theremote thermo/hygro sensor is 80ft. Obstacles such as walls, concrete, andlarge metal objects can reduce the range. Place both units in their desiredlocation and wait approximately 10 minutes before permanently mountingto ensure that there is proper reception. The indoor weather station shoulddisplay a temperature in the OUTDOOR LCD within 4 minutes of settingup.I. Remote Thermo/hygro SensorA. Mounting With Screws1.
