6EN/ IntroductionINTRODUCTIONINSTRUCTIONS FOR USE• Take great care when cooking food with a highalcohol content, as this could cause a fire.• Remove any food residue from inside the ovenbefore using the appliance in order to preventfires and smoking.• Do not place any objects or baking paper onthe bottom of the oven.• After cooking, keep the door closed while theoven is cooling down to prevent damagingadjacent kitchen units.• Fruit juice can cause indelible staining; usedeep dishes to prevent leakage.• Damaged containers, or those which areunsuitably small, can lead to serious injuries.• When opening the oven door, be very carefulof escaping steam: burn hazard!• Do not pour water into a hot oven: this wouldcreate steam, and thus a burn hazard!• Keep the door seal clean to prevent heatescaping and damaging adjacent units.• Insert oven racks and trays all the way intotheir guides to prevent damage to the doorwhen closing.INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONSTHIS APPLIANCE MUST NOT BE INSTALLEDIN BOATS OR CARAVANSThe appliance must not be installed on apedestal.• Position the appliance into the carcase withthe help of a second person.• To prevent overheating, the appliance mustnot be installed behinda decorative door or panel.• Gas appliances must only be connected upand worked on by qualified gas engineers,who must be licensed and registered in mostjurisdictions.• When connecting up the gas hose, this mustnot exceed the maximum length provided forby regulations.• Pipes and hoses must not come into contactwith moving parts and must not be crushed orpinched.• Where required, use a pressure regulatormeeting the appropriate standards andregulations.• Check the tightness of the gas connectionsafter all work.• On completing installation, check for anyleaks with a soapy solution, never with aflame.• Have installation and servicing carried outby qualified personnel in compliance withapplicable standards and legislation.• The electrical connection must be made bya qualified electrician.• Earthing is mandatory, in accordance withlocal electrical codes.• Use flex rated to support temperatures of atleast 90 °C.• If the power supply cable is damaged,contact technical support immediately andthey will arrange for it to be replaced.• Always wear the appropriate PPE whenperforming any work on the appliance(installation, maintenance, positioning ormoving it).• Shut off the main gas supply and isolate therelevant electrical circuit before carrying outany work.
