De-commissioning and Demolition1) De-commissioning and demolitionStart by setting the main switch to the “0”or OFF position.Disconnecting from the power outletDisconnect the espresso machine fromthe electrical network by switching offthe associated circuit breaker or circuitprotection device. Remove the powersupply cord from the power connection.Remove the Pump Motor Power Cord fromthe water pump motor.Disconnecting from the water systemShut off the water supply by closing thespecific tap located upstream of the waterfilter/softener inlet. Disconnect the waterpipe at the water filter/softener inlet.Remove the hose connecting the espressomachine to the water pump. Removethe reinforced plastic tubing on the drainconnection.At this point, the machine may be removedfrom the bar, being very careful not to dropit or squash your fingers.The machine is made out of variousmaterials and therefore, if you do notintend to put it back in service, it mustbe taken to a special disposal companywhich will select the materials which canbe recycled and discard the others.Current regulations make it illegal todiscard such machine by leaving it onpublic grounds or on any private property.Recycling notice: Warning for the protection of theenvironment.Used Electrical and electronic wastecontains hazardous but also valuableand scarce materials which should berecovered and recycled properly.
