Notice that this affects the central heat or hydronicfunction only. If a call for domestic hot water arrives, the unitwill still fire and respond to that. Warm Weather Shutdownrequires the connection of an outdoor temperature sensor. SeeSection 8C.4. (If Outdoor Reset is active, the same sensor canbe used for both functions.)Here are instructions for setting up the Warm WeatherShutdown function. Notice that these instructions will bedifferent, depending on whether your system has a singleboiler or more than one boiler (using Lead/Lag operation).Wiring Connections -Connect the outdoor temperature sensor.:If your system has just one boiler –Connect the sensor across terminals 1 and 2 on TB-7.If your system has more than one boiler, and is controlledusing the Lead/ Lag function –Connect the sensor across terminals 1 and 2 on TB-7 on theboiler which will be used as the Lead/Lag Master.Setting Up the Control Functions -1. The piping used to supply domestic hotwater (DHW) can be set up in several different ways. SeeSection 6 for details. In this section, we will describe thewiring and control setup for several different types of DHWsupplies.DANGER• Water temperature over 125°F (52°C) can causesevere burns instantly or death from scalds.• Children, disabled and elderly are at hightest risk ofbeing scalded.• Set the water temperature carefully as describedbelow.• Feel the water beforebathing or showering.• If this appliance is used toproduce water that couldscald if too hot, suchas domestic hot wateruse, adjust the outletcontrol (limit) or use temperature limiting valves toobtain a maximum water temperature of 125°F (52°C).
