Main FeaturesThe PLM+ Series incorporates a number of sophisticated technologies to ensure the best possible performanceand many years of reliable operation. Amplifier PlatformThe PLM+ Series power output section has expanded upon Lab.gruppen’s robust, road-provenPLM 20000Q amplifier. Features common to both platforms include extraordinary power density; 4 channels ofpatented Class TD® output stages, a Power Factor Corrected (PFC), Regulated Switch Mode Power Supply(R.SMPS™), the high-efficiency Intercooler® copper-finned cooling system, and a full suite of protection features,including the Breaker Emulation Limiter (BEL). Signal inputs are analog, AES digital, and Dante digital audionetwork.2.2.2. Amplifier DSP (Digital Signal Processor)Various features of PLM+ Series devices are controlled by the on-board DSP, some of which are summarized inthis section.2.2.2.1.
