13Part number 21729, Rev 4Contacts and communicationsONLY Authorized, trained electricians should attempt any connectionbehind the service panels!Remote alarm contactsThe Remote Alarm provides a NO (normally open) output, a NC (normally closed) output, and aCommon. The Schematic below represents the alarm state and wire colors. The remote alarmterminal block is located in the base area of the unit, to the left of the electronic enclosure.Note:1) The Remote Alarm contacts will have a 30 minute delay before they are tripped.2) Always double check the continuity of the NO and NC contacts.3) This procedure is for the Alarm only. 24 VDC (User supplied)R= 250 ΩA 4-20mA signal is available. Connect the circuit to positions 1 and 2 as shown above. Monitorthe DC voltage across a 250 Ω resistor. Remove the galvaneal access cover on the rear of theULT to gain access to a Type T thermocouple that can be used to monitor the chambertemperature. Connect the thermocouple to a temperature reading device to view the chambertemperature. The dc voltage drop across the resistor corresponds to the chamber temperature(deg C) and should match the temperature on the display.
