Topside ControlsWhen you receive your new Laguna Bay Spa, it will arrive with factoryprogrammed settings with the clock set to Eastern Standard Time, in StandardMode, with a Filtration Cycle to begin at 6 PM (18:00) and ending at 8 PM(20:00) If the water temperature drops 3°F below the desired water temperatureyou program, the heater will automatically turn on to heat the water back tothe temperature you choose. For most users, putting the spa in economy modewhen exiting the spa ensures optimal energy efficiency.Operating ModesStandard Mode: When your spa is in Standard Mode, thebacklighting will be blue and the LED will display “Std”. Whileyou are using your Laguna Bay Spa, it should be in Standard Mode.Standard Mode allows full function of Jets, filtration cycles and maintains thewater temperature to the temperature you set.Economy Mode: When your spa is in Economy Mode, thebacklighting will be green and the LED will display “Ecn”. In EconomyMode, the spa will run the programmed filtration cycles and will maintain thewater temperature within 3 degrees of the set temperature. Your spa shouldput the spa in Economy Mode each time you exit the spa for optimal energyefficiency. The pump will run on low speed when the spa is heating and will turnoff automatically when the water reaches the correct temperature.Sleep Mode: When your spa is in Sleep Mode, the backlighting on thedisplay will be lavender and the LED will display “Slp”. Sleep Modeshould be used when you are not using your spa for long periods of time. Whenyour spa is in Sleep Mode, the spa will run filter cycles and will only heat whenthe water temperature falls to 44°F.
