Solid fill tiresare not to be used on the Razor mower.It is important for your safety and the safety of others thatthe tires have correct air pressure. Check air pressure inall four tires before each use. Visually inspect tires forloss of air throughout each day of operation. See TireInflation Chart below for correct tire pressure.Electrical SystemRefer to Figure 5-2:The battery is located under the seat. The electricalsystem is a 12 volt, negative ground. Recommendedbattery size is a garden mower BCI group U1R with 225or better cold cranking AMPs (CCA). A maintenance-freebattery is recommended. Otherwise, follow batterymanufacturer’s maintenance, safety, storing andcharging specifications.BatteryFigure 5-2! WARNINGAcid can cause serious injury to skin and eyes. Avoid skincontact with battery acid and always wear eye protection whenchecking the battery. Flush area with clean water and call aphysician immediately. Acid will also damage clothing.! WARNINGDo not allow an open flame near the battery when charging.Hydrogen gas forms inside the battery. WARNINGIncorrect battery cable connections can damage mower’selectrical system and cause battery cables to spark. Sparksaround a battery can result in a battery gas explosion andpersonal injury.• Always disconnect negative (black) battery cable beforedisconnecting positive (red) cable.• Always reconnect positive (red) battery cable to thepositive (+) post before reconnecting negative (black) cableto the negative (-) post.! WARNINGKeep battery terminals from touching any metal mower partswhen removing or installing the battery. Do not allow metaltools to short between the battery terminals and metal mowerparts. Shorts caused by battery terminals or metal toolstouching metal mower components can cause sparks. Sparkscan cause a battery gas explosion which will result in personalinjury.! WARNINGDo not overfill battery. Electrolyte may overflow and damagepaint, wiring or structure. When cleaning the battery, use soapand water. Be careful not to get soap and water into thebattery.
