Mosttractors have sway blocks or adjustable chains for thispurpose. Category of hitch is dependent upon the seriesof cutter being used.• RCS3596 & RCSM3596 (Category l or ll hitch)• RCS35510 & RCSM3510 (Category ll or lll hitch)NOTE: Ballast may need to be added to your tractorto maintain steering control. Refer to your tractor’soperator manual to determine if one needsadditional ballast.Dealer PreparationsRead and understand the operator’s manual for yourcutter. An understanding of how it works will aid in theassembly and setup of your cutter.This Rotary Cutter has been partially assembled at thefactory. However, some assembly will be necessary toattach the hitch, driveline and guards to the cutter.It is best to go through the Pre-Assembly Checklistbefore assembling the cutter. Speed up your assemblytask and make the job safer by having all the neededparts and equipment readily at hand.Pre-Assembly ChecklistCheck ReferenceFasteners and pins that were shippedwith the cutter. NOTE: All hardware fromthe factory has been installed in thelocation where it will be used. If a part orfastener is temporarily removed forassembly reasons, remember where itgoes.Keep the parts separated.Operator’sManualBe sure the parts get used in the correctlocation.
