In such a case, remove the disc and wait forabout an hour until the moisture has evaporated.A dirty or defective disc may cause sounddropouts while playing. To enjoy optimumsound, handle the disc as follows.Handle the disc by its edge. To keep the discclean, do not touch the surface (P.1).If you use the discs explained below, thesticky residue can cause the CD to stopspinning and may cause malfunction or ruinyour discs.Do not use second-hand or rental CDs thathave a sticky residue on the surface (forexample, from peeled-off stickers or fromink, or glue leaking from under the stickers).Do not stick paper or tape on the disc (P.2).Before playing, clean the discs with anoptional cleaning cloth.
