LiveTester Plus07GBSafety instructions• The device must only be used in accordance with its intendedpurpose and within the scope of the specifications. Modifi-cations or changes to the device are not permitted, this willotherwise invalidate the approval and safety specifications.• In overvoltage category II (CAT II – 300 V), the voltagebetween the test device and earth must not exceed 300 V.• Do not expose the device to mechanical stress, extremetemperatures or significant vibration.• If you are working with voltages higher than 25 V/AC /60 V/DC, exercise extreme caution. Touching the electricalconductors at such voltages poses a risk of life-threateningelectric shocks.• If the device comes into contact with moisture or other con-ductive-residue, work must not be carried out under voltage. At and above voltages of 25 V/AC / 60 V/DC, the presence ofmoisture creates the risk of life-threatening electric shocks.Clean and dry the device before use. When using the deviceoutdoors, make sure that the weather conditions are approp-riate and/or that suitable protection measures are taken.• Before every measurement make sure that the area to bechecked (e.g. line) and the tester are in perfect operatingcondition. Test the device by connecting it to known voltagesources (e.g. a 230 V socket in the case of AC testing). Stopusing the device if one or a number of its functions fails.• Please ensure compliance with the safety regulations set outby local and national authorities with regard to the correctand proper use of the device.Reliable and fast connection testing for finding faulty wiringin sockets. The status of the wiring can be read off with theaid of the indicator lamps, LC display and the code key. The PEconductor error indicator with LC display additionally signalsfault voltages. The 30 mA FI/RCD quick test is used to checkthe FI/RCD tripping function.Function / ApplicationRead the operating instructions and the enclosedbrochure „Guarantee and additional notices“completely. Follow the instructions they contain.Safely keep these documents for future reference.!
