Calibratingthe compass after changing the batteries is the only way to ensure the compass informationremains accurate.Preparing the Magellan Tritron for Calibration1. Remove the USB Cable and the power adapter.2. Lay the receiver on its back on a flat, level surface.CAUTION: Do NOT perform the compass calibration on any metal surface. For bestcalibration results, move all metal objects away from the receiver before beginning.Calibrating the Magellan Triton1. Turn the Magellan Triton on by pressing the power button.2. Press the PAGE / GO TO button until the compass screen isdisplayed.3. Press the MENU button to display the contextual menu.4. Select “User Calibration”. |
